The Style Files: Q and A

I've always loved fashion and styling. To me, fashion is more than just clothing—it's a form of self-expression. The way we dress can reflect our personality, our mood, and even our confidence. Fashion is a type of art that has evolved over the years and continues to influence how people present themselves to the world.
One thing I've noticed is how quickly trends come and go. Some pieces suddenly become popular, and before you know it, everyone seems to be wearing them. Personally, I've never been someone who follows every trend. I prefer to wear what makes me feel comfortable and confident rather than spending money on styles that may disappear a few months later.
There are definitely fashion trends that I love and others that I simply don't understand. Some styles become so popular that they seem to take over every store, even though they aren't for everyone. That's one of the reasons I believe personal style is much more important than following trends. Fashion should be about expressing yourself, not fitting into a mold.
Today, I'm sharing a fun Fashion & Style Q&A featuring some of my fashion loves, dislikes, and personal style preferences. Let's dive in!
1. What part of clothing do you honestly hate?
I would have to say poorly fitting bras. I like bras that fit comfortably, provide support, and fit correctly. There's nothing worse than a bra that feels uneven or uncomfortable.
2. What clothing are you not a fan of?
High-waisted pants. They've never been my style, and I personally don't find them comfortable.
3. If you had to choose your favorite clothing items, what would they be and why?
Capris, leggings, and yoga pants. They're comfortable, versatile, and easy to style.
4. What's your favorite color to wear?
Black and other dark colors. I think they're timeless, flattering, and easy to pair with almost anything.
5. Do you like high-waisted pants?
No, they're just not for me.
6. Would you follow the trend of wearing ripped clothing?
No. I've never really understood paying extra for clothes that already have holes in them.
7. What piece of clothing do you wear the most?
Definitely leggings, capris, and yoga pants.
8. What style of clothing do you like?
I love outfits that combine shorts, a lace top, and a cardigan. It's feminine, stylish, and comfortable.
9. What's your favorite styling trend?
Anything that focuses on comfort while still looking put together.
10. Do you like the styles celebrities wear on the red carpet?
Not really. While some looks are beautiful, I'd rather create my own style than copy someone else's.
11. What is your favorite thing to style?
Leggings. They're simple, comfortable, and can be styled in many different ways.
12. Would you wear statement earrings?
No, they're not really my thing.
13. Are you a fan of floral pieces?
Not particularly. I tend to gravitate toward simpler styles and darker colors.
14. Would you ever copy a celebrity's style?
Years ago, I followed some of the styles worn by Kim Kardashian. Over time, though, I learned that I enjoy creating my own style much more.
15. If you could steal a celebrity's style, who would it be and why?
Honestly, I wouldn't. I believe it's better to use celebrities as inspiration rather than trying to dress exactly like them. Creating your own style is much more rewarding.
Answering these questions was actually harder than I expected. Fashion is something I enjoy, but putting my style preferences into words took a little more thought than I imagined. In the end, this reminded me that style isn't about following every trend or dressing like someone else—it's about wearing what makes you feel comfortable, confident, and true to yourself.
Now I'd love to know: How would you describe your personal style? And is there a celebrity whose fashion inspires you, or do you prefer creating your own signature look?
